February 19, 2023 – Why Them?
The Transfiguration of our Lord (Series A)- Matthew 17:1-9
Several people have asked me in the last few weeks why Moses and Elijah were with Jesus on the mountain. Why them? Why not Adam or Abraham or David? In God’s plan, the Law and Prophets are represented on that mountain, and like the Law and the Prophets, they bear witness to the true nature and glory of Christ.
