Evangelism
Our purpose to “Spread the Word” to the unchurched, enlist others in this work, to deepen the faith and activity of the congregation, and to soul-account at all times.
Our goals are to do these tasks through publicizing the work of the congregation through various channels, and the general integration of the congregation’s work into the life of the community.
We encourage prayer, encourage members to share Christ with one another, and promote an every-member education program.
We maintain a visitation program, use publications to get the Word out, and participate in outreach. We also care for lay visitors and new members, and are involved in canvassing and staying in touch with other agencies in the community at large.
